Everywhere you look, people are talking about “unleashing your potential,” “unlocking your infinite potential,” “discovering your true self,” or “achieving limitless growth.” While these phrases are trendy, they often feel overused and hollow. And I have been just as much guilty of it. 🙋🏻♀️
The truth is, these trendy words are often used to lure you in and make you dependent on an app, a coach, or any external solution. Real growth, however, -and this will be such a shocker-, starts with you!
True empowerment comes from self-coaching—taking charge of your life, setting meaningful goals, and navigating challenges with your own determination and confidence. To give you more truth that you already knew; it’s not about relying on others, rather, it’s about realizing that you already have everything you need to grow.

- Find What Gives You Energy: Discover what activities energize you. Often, this involves some type of physical activity. Engaging in these activities regularly makes you more motivated to do something new, such as “unleashing your potential” 😉
- Do the Energizing Activity: Before tackling any challenges, do something that gives you energy. This will help you feel ready and motivated.
- Identify Your Comfort Zone: Understand where your comfort zone lies. Knowing this is crucial for personal growth.
- Step Out of Your Comfort Zone: Come up with fun and light challenges that push you just outside your comfort zone. It’s normal to feel nervous; it takes courage to step out of your comfort zone. Remember, the initial step of doing something that energizes you is key.
- Take on the Challenge: Go ahead and tackle one of these challenges!
- Reflect After completing the challenge, take time to reflect. How do you feel? How did the challenge go?
- Share and Repeat: Share your experiences and repeat the process. Repeating these steps is important as it’s through repetition that you’ll notice changes in yourself and your comfort zone.
